2Love is the youth department of The Salvation Army Australia Southern Territory.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength and love your neighbour as yourself.”

Why 2Love? Because God desires for us all to engage in 2 Loves. He asks us 2Love God and secondly 2Love others. Out of all scripture it is these two verses that epitomise the gospel. In February 2007 we relaunched the youth department, and there was no better place to start than with these absolute essentials of scripture.

2Love is a sub-brand of The Salvation Army, that is used internally to help us engage the youth across the territory in a new way. We are desperate to see our youth once again become passionate about God and our movement, and we pray God will help us to have a radical edge as we move forward.

We believe wholeheartedly in the four mission intentions of this territory - caring fro people, transforming lives, making disciples and reforming society. We want to take young people on a deliberate journey from pre-faith to fighting Salvationists who are willing to stand up for the lost, the last, and the least. We also strive to live out the values of Human Dignity, Justice, Hope, Compassion and Community. We believe the youth are the future of this movement and the heart beat of who we are.

Our co-founder, Catherine Booth once said, “if we are to better the future we must disturb the present.” So please pray for 2Love “as we disturb the present” as we see youth across this territory show their passion for God and The Salvation Army.
