Help Us Be There Again. Salvos Launch Flood Appeal
The Salvation Army Emergency Services volunteers are actively working on the front line in flood affected areas of NSW and Queensland. Officers and volunteers are serving in and around the communities of Moree, Roma and Mitchell and are preparing to serve in other areas if required.
National Emergency Medal Recognition
Two Salvation Army members have been awarded a National Emergency Medal in recognition of their service in the Black Saturday Bushfires.
Salvation Army Chaplain Major Arthur Ford, was the first Chaplain on the scene in the fire ravaged Kinglake area in the aftermath of the Black Saturday Bushfires in 2009. Read more
